Masters, Kim. "'Dead Presidents' Precedent: The Heist Is Only Half of the Story,
Says the Man Who Pulled It Off." Washington Post, October 15, 1995, p. G1.
The real story behind the heist that was portrayed in the film "Dead Presidents,"
made by Albert and Allen Hughes, is recounted. The movie depicts one chapter of Wallace Terry's
book, "Bloods," in which the story of Ari Sesu Merretazon, who is shown as a member
of a group of black Vietnam veterans who paint their faces white and steal worn-out federal
currency, is told.
