This article reports on the efforts of a drug rehabilitation center at the Longbinh military installation in South Vietnam. The program, known as the Black Amnesty Drug Program, concentrated primarily on African-American heroin addicts and utilized the message of Black Power to help military personnel overcome their addiction.
