Congressional Medal of Honor winner Milton Lee Olive III was only 18 when he jumped on a
live grenade saving those around him. Thirty years later, Jimmy Stanford, a white man,
said at a ceremony commemorating the heroic action that it had forever changed his outlook
on race. Also speaking at the ceremony was Spencer Alexander, Allen Bo Price and Rick Murray,
all veterans of the Vietnam War or World War II.
